Lake Hartwell Vacation Cabin Rental

Yes, we have Water at the dock! We were up on March 11, 2009. The dock was just completely
refurbished with all new wood and a 60" arched walkway. We have a company adjust the dock
to keep up with the lake levels.

The Home

Beautiful and private home located in Lavonia, GA (exit #173) on Lake Hartwell. The home is 2,200
square feet and has 3 bedrooms a loft and 2 baths with a large Kitchen, Dining Room, Great Room with
two story stone fireplace. Laundry room, covered front porch and huge rear deck overlooking the lake. The
master retreat is over 600 square feet and includes a large bath with separate shower and garden tub.

We built this house and have used it as our second home. The kids are keeping us busy with activities and
we decided to rent our home. We still use the home all the time.

There is a King size bed and a double futon in the Master bedroom. A queen size bed in the guest room and
a bunk bed with a trundle in the kids room. The loft has a double futon and there are two additional twin sized
cots in the walk in closet. The house will accommodate 10 people plus a pet or two. Yes, our home is
pet friendly.

The home includes everything you need to enjoy your time at Lake Hartwell. The linens, bath towels, soap
and paper products are included and the home is maintained by a professional cleaning service. We have
hundreds of books to read and over 25 games and puzzles. The entertainment center includes a TV, VCR,
DVD and surround sound system with Direct TV that has over 200 channels. We have WiFi high speed
internet to keep you connected. Outside we have rocking chairs on the porch, table and chairs on the back
deck and two gas grills overlooking the lake.

The Lot

The setting is very private with 154' of lake frontage on a deep cove
just off the main channel at buoy T-64. The lot is over 1 acre and
covered with large mature hardwoods. The cove is very private and
has water year round. There is a beaver living at the mouth of the cove
and you can see him playing in the water at dusk. The dock is 10 X 20
with a 60' arched walkway. We have a Kayak on the dock that you can
use to explore the lake.

The neighborhood is located 1 mile from the entrance to Tugaloo
State Park. The park offers camping, cabins, beach, tennis,
playgrounds, putt putt, miles of nature trails, and boat ramps. The
upscale neighborhood has paved roads, underground utilities and
covenants in place.

The Lake

Lake Hartwell is located in the Northeast Georgia Mountains and
Upcountry South Carolina. Formed by a Corps of Engineers dam at
Hartwell, Georgia and bisected by Interstate 85 as it crosses from
Georgia into South Carolina, Hartwell Lake is one of the most
accessible lakes in the nation. Lake Hartwell's 962 miles of shoreline
and 56,000 acres feature over 80 public boat launch, recreation, and
park areas with some of the best boating, water-skiing, and fishing in
Georgia or South Carolina.
